About Me
Ella Fling is a photographer and visual editor based in Washington, D.C. Her work spans various genres including portraiture and documentary. She is skilled working both in the studio and in the field. She has earned her B.S. in Photography at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. In addition to working as the Director of Photography for Baked Magazine, she photographed for the Daily Orange, the Newshouse, and other campus publications.
She enjoys anything that involves interacting with new people: taking portraits of people she’s never met, discovering towns she had never been to, or even going on a pontoon ride with a church groups she had met five minutes prior.
Her love for photography resides within her love for visual storytelling. She hopes to continue sharing stories, both to expose others to new experiences and to never stop learning, herself.
